Niseko is a winter holiday destination inHokkaido’s island in Japan. Clients asked us to design a building that could integrate in a slope plot without breaking the natural morbid topography. The elaborated C shaped proposal is able to respond to both seismic and snow-bearing constraint and is also optimal from a natural enlightenment. The concrete shelter is covered by a timber cladding and opens it in wide curtain walls projected on the extraordinary view of mount Yotei volcano.
